Captain Jack's performs many marine services besides salvage.
We offer full services for underwater search and inspections using Side
Scan Sonar, R.O.V., Magnetometer, or Divers. Using your own equipment or
ours, we offer the best floating platform. We can tow your yacht, houseboat
or respond to a disabled vessel. The service is always guaranteed. Two vessels,
the Negotiator and the Cascade, serve the waters of Oregon, Washington and
Alaska. for diving or equipment drop.
Captain Jack Nesset began his adventures on and under the water from early childhood, making homemade diving devices and building boats. Captain Nesset was involved with the gold recovery from the sunken side paddle wheel steamer, Brother Jonathan, which hit a rock near Crescent City, California.
It sank July 31, 1865 with over 200 people lost. His side scan experience goes back to the 1970s and has taken him all over the world. Captain Nesset started a whale watching division in the 1990s. His excursion was known as the most fun adventure in the Northwest and the slogan. "Whale watch with Captain Jack, see 'em or your money back." Today there is no whale excursions for the public, but the whales are there for Captain Jack.
